Knowledge and Sustainable Development of the Mediterranean and of its living resources

Marine Life publishes fundamental and applied research papers in the following fields:

- Marine biodiversity, biology and ecology, marine chemistry and biochemistry, relating to the life of organisms, population dynamics or biogeochemical cycles;
- Multidisciplinary studies, systems analysis and the modelling of metabolisms or processes;
- The commercial exploitation, redevelopment, sustainable management and socio-economic aspects of living resources and of protected marine areas;
- Eco-toxicology, damage and pollution affecting the marine environment.

The publication focuses mainly on the Mediterranean Sea, but also deals with other seas that are ecologically related: lagoons, coastal areas and the destructive impacts that may occur there. Marine Life accepts original articles, survey articles, brief notes, technical notes and book reviews.
Papers are submitted to independent experts designated by the Reading Committee.
Accepted articles are published in paper format and in electronic format on the website www.marinelife-revue.fr. The electronic version is made available on a free access basis on the Internet and papers are published there as soon have been accepted by the Reading Committee. The paper version is published as soon as the requisite number of articles to constitute a volume has been reached.
